The emperor has no clothes

In any given moment we become aware of events in our world through established channels of communication; translation: The media. Like so many(?) persons of thought, I am constantly amazed - but never surprized - at the inconsistancy of our world ... you might call it THE DOUBLE STANDARD of it all.

Whether it is the Don Imus preposterousness, or the BBC's pompous lecturing about gun control, or almost anything uttered by liberal Democrats, the double standard is in full effect.

I don't pretend that anybody will read this, let alone care what just another anonymous blogger thinks about anything (because I SURE don't care what anyone thinks about anything); still the theme will be consistent, i.e., the emperor has no clothes, i.e., I refuse to drink the Kool Aid of brainwashing and fear-of-reprisal that is this world. Believe it or not, the emperor is, and remains, naked.
